Control via computer
The cloud media signal management platform is a green software. Double-click the main program to open it and use it. It can be controlled by connecting the matrix and the computer through the RS232 serial cable or network cable. Note: When using the network connection, please set the IP of the computer to the same network segment as the matrix IP, as shown below: 8×8 4K HDMI Matrix switch
- Network connection: Use a network cable to connect the computer and the matrix, double-click to open the control software, and click the “SETUP” button. If the matrix is controlled through the network port, it is necessary to set the computer’s IP and the matrix’s IP in the same network segment. Select the IP address of the computer (click the “SETUP” button on the matrix touch screen to view the matrix network address), and then click the “Network port connection” button to connect, when all the buttons in the lower right corner of the interface display green, the connection is successful. At this time, click the “Load” button on the interface to display the configuration of the matrix
- Serial port connectionConnect the computer and the matrix with a direct-connect serial port cable, double-click to open the control software, click the “SETUP” button, select the serial port connected to the matrix, such as “COM2”, then select “COM2” at the serial port device “, click “Serial connection”, when all the buttons in the lower right corner are green, the connection is successful. At this point, clicking “Load” will display some configurations of the matrix.
- Change the IP of the matrix Make sure that the matrix is connected to the computer normally, enter the IP to be changed in the network address in the configuration column, and click Save to change the IP.
- Turn on/off the buzzer: Make sure the matrix is connected to the computer normally, click the “ON” button next to the buzzer to set 8×8 4K HDMI Matrix switch

Remark :
- In the above table, a represents input, and b represents output. The subscripts “1”, “2”, and “3” in the command are not sent characters. The numerical range of a and b depends on the controlled matrix. , then it is treated as a command input error;
- The end character of each instruction cannot be omitted. There is a “.” at the end of each instruction, and the punctuation marks are those of the English input method.
- Pay attention to the capitalization of letters. (The first letter of the three words Saveall/Recallall/Buzzer should be capitalized) 8×8 4K HDMI Matrix switch
Some instruction code examples
- Switch the first input signal to the second port output, and send the command: 1X2.take.
- Switch the first input signal to the 1-5 port output, and send the command: 1X1-5.take.
- Switch the input signal of No. 1 to the output of No. 3, 4, and 5 ports, and send the command: 1X3,4,5.take.
- Switch the 4th, 5th, and 6th input signals to the 3rd, 4th, and 5th port output, and send the command: 4X3.5X4.6X5.take.
